The location is close to the Roberts St./Stanley St. corner of Grant Thorold Park. The business on the left is Nicholson Bros., Ltd., Nibromo motor engineering works, electrical engineers, oxy-acetylene cutting & welding experts, contractors to the Admiralty. Service Engineering Co. (Grimsby) Ltd. is at 56 Roberts Street in 2022.

Note: Reginald Phillipson, packer, lived at 44 Roberts Street in the 1920s. Note: Service (Grimsby) Ltd., motor engineers were in Roberts Street in 1930 so the company has a very long history! Note: The sign on the building on the left appears to say “Seiford Cars Buick”.
