Timber is being unloaded from ‘Cochobeu’ (Арха́нгельская = Archangel registered). Note the hammer and sickle on the funnel.

The vessel loaded with timber in the top right of the photo is ‘Freiherr vom Stein’. She was built in Germany in 1936. Between 1940 and 1946, the vessel was requisitioned by the Kriegsmarine. Broken up in 1971.
