Grant Thorold Bowlers were League Champions 1912-13. A number of the gentlemen are wearing their winners medal.

R. F. Hallett was probably Robert Frederick Hallett (1894-). We assume he was an amateur photographer. He was living with his parents at 108 Weelsby Street in 1911 and was a clerk in a fish company’s office. He was a Corporal and Bombardier in 62nd Res. Bty. of the Royal Field Artillery (RFA) during WW1. (At one point he had a broken arm.) He married in 1917. In 1939, he was a chief assistant rating officer and collector living at 284 Brereton Avenue, Cleethorpes. He was still living at the same property in 1970.
