Built as ‘Boston Fury’ GY.188 in 1956 by Cook, Welton & Gemmell, Beverley for Boston Deep Sea Fisheries Co. Ltd., Grimsby. Sold to Abunda Steam Fishing Co. Ltd., Grimsby in 1961 and renamed ‘Abunda’. Sold to Newton Trawlers Ltd., Grimsby in 1966 and renamed ‘Volesus’. Sold to North Cape Fishing Co. Ltd., Hull in 1975.

In 1978, ‘Volesus’ GY.188 was sold to C. J. Else (Gibraltar) Ltd., Gibraltar for use as a wreck recovery / salvage vessel. In 1979, sold to H. K. Vickers & Sons Engineering Ltd. and to Maritime Sunshine SA, Panama. Sold to Chepo Shipping Co., Panama in 1987. Scrapped?
