One of the famous “Cat Boats”, ‘Ross Civet’ GY.652 was built in 1960 by Cochrane & Sons, Selby for Ross Trawlers, Grimsby. In 1985, she was sold to Cam Shipping and converted to a rig standby vessel. From then, she was known as ‘Cam Civet’ and continued to operate out of Grimsby.

In 1993, ‘Cam Civet’ was sold to a broker. The next records show that she was sold to a Portuguese fishing company in 1999 and she sailed under the flag of São Tomé e Príncipe (an African island nation close to the equator). Her fate beyond that is unknown.
