Albert Terrace, Albert Road, Cleethorpes c1893.

A lithographic print of a photograph by Francis Frith & Co. published in a book of such images entitled “Cleethorpes”. This quality, souvenir book was published by Fox & Son in c1890s.

The terrace looks very different today but a few sections of original, fancy brickwork remain. The Burlington Hotel and the Dovedale Hotel & Restaurant are in this terrace.

Note the chemist’s shop in the distance. This is the rear of what is now Jamal’s indian restaurant on Alexandra Road.
