The Cosalt (The Great Grimsby Coal, Salt and Tanning Company) buildings are on the left. These were demolished in 2016. The buildings on the right still exist.

Salsbury’s Becketts Cafe (“Solly’s Cafe”) and premises once belonging to Russell Grant Ltd. (fish merchants) are in the centre of the picture.

Trains once ran both sides of the “thin” building.
