From the original 1990s negative. The photo shows Peterson’s Smokehouse with 6 of the 10 cowls still in place. Peterson’s Smokehouse is on Henderson Street. This rear of the building, as shown here, is on Brown Street.

Peterson’s is currently being completely renovated, with delivery mid 2023. The 6 rotating cowls in the photo have been found inside the building. Accurate replacements will be manufactured for the remaining 4 chimneys.

Peterson’s fish processing and smoking factory is a Grade II Listed Building. It was built late C19 and early C20, with later alterations.
