From an original photographic postcard published by Jackson & Son of Grimsby as part of their J.M.J Series. A printed version of this image was sold during WW1. It was passed for publication by the Press Bureau.

‘Othello’ GY.333 was built in 1907 by Cochrane & Sons Ltd. of Selby. She was requisitioned by the Royal Navy c1914-1919. Requisitioned again in 1939, ‘Othello’ was used as a minesweeper and boom defence vessel. She sank in the River Humber on 11th April 1941 after hitting a mine.
