An anchor seiner built in 1959 as ‘Saxon King’ GY.629 by Herd & Mackenzie of Peterhead for Forward Steam Fishing Co. Ltd., Grimsby. After about 20 years, she was bought by Delga Fishing Co. Ltd, Grimsby & Arie B. J. Van Zandvliet, North Shields and renamed ‘Delvan’, the name coming from Delga and Van Zandvliet. Later owned by Tom Sleight (Seiners) Ltd, Grimsby. Fishing registry closed in 1994.
