From the original negative.

‘Ross Lynx’ GY.626 was built in 1959/1960 by Cochrane & Sons Ltd, Selby, for Ross Trawlers Ltd of Grimsby. In 1985, she was sold to Cam Shipping, who converted her into a standby vessel and renamed her ‘Cam Lynx’.

In 1994, ‘Cam Lynx’ was sold to Panama and she was converted back to a fishing vessel and retained her name. Now scrapped?

Note: Ross Group trawlers passed into the B.U.T. group in 1969. The 11 surviving ‘Cat Class’ boats were sold to Cam Shipping. They were converted into oil rig support ships and their hulls were painted orange.
