The steam trawler ‘Kastoria’ GY.1155 was built in 1900 by Cook, Welton and Gemmell of Beverley for Great Grimsby & East Coast Steam Fishing Company Ltd. In 1913, she was sold to Edwin Bacon and then to Spartan Steam Fishing Co. Ltd. She was renamed ‘Scooper’. During WW1, she was requisitioned by the Royal Navy to be used as boom defence vessel No. FY 1745. She returned to Edwin Bacon after the war. In 1961, she was sold for scrap to AC Slooten Wormer, Holland and was subsequently broken up in Den Helder.

The steam trawler ‘Orvicto’ GY.897 was built in 1900 by Cook, Welton and Gemmell of Beverley for South Western Steam Fishing Co. Ltd., Grimsby. During WW1, she was requisitioned by the Royal Navy to be used as bomb thrower / minesweeper No. FY 2962. After the war, she went to Great Northern Steam Ship Fishing Co. Ltd., Hull as ‘Orvicto’ H.603 and, later in 1918, to William Hill, Grimsby as ‘Orvicto’ GY.1179 and even later in 1918 to Northern Steam Fishing Co. Ltd., Grimsby. In 1933, she was sold to Sir Thomas Robinson & Sons Ltd, Grimsby. She was requisitioned during WW2 as a danlayer / auxiliary patrol vessel No. FY 909 and returned in October 1945. In 1961, she was sold for scrap to AC Slooten Wormer, Holland and was subsequently broken up in Wormer.
