An original photographic postcard by William Harold Topham, book seller, stationer and photographer, of 19 Tasburg Street, Grimsby. The image was colourised in 2023.

William Harold Topham (born Grimsby, 1880) was the son of Christopher Britton Topham (born Alkborough, Lincs.) and Margaret Topham (née Moss). Christopher Topham (1845-1896) was a builder, joiner and contractor employing 24 men. William was one of four children.

William Harold Topham was a stationer in Margaret Street, Grimsby in 1909 and a photographer at 19 Tasburgh Street in 1922. William H. Topham married Mary Pawson in Caistor in 1927. He was a photographer in Caistor in South Street, Caistor in 1933 and in Fountain Street, Caistor in 1937. William Harold Topham, incapacitated photographer, of 108 South Street, Caistor died in Caistor in 1941.

Note: Christopher Britton Topham of 13 Osborne Street, 43 Hainton Street, 3 Tasburg Street and 19 Tasburg Street had a workshops and yards at 3 Tasburg Street and West Haven Street.
