Built as ‘Admiral Drake’ H.273 in 1936 by Cochrane & Sons, Selby for C. H. Smith, Hull. In 1938, she was reregistered as ‘Stella Canopus’ H.273. For the duration of WW2, she was requisitioned as an anti-submarine trawler HMS ‘Stella Canopus’ FY 248. After the war, she came to Grimsby as ‘Craddock’ GY.236. In 1946, she was renamed ‘Cradock’. In 1954, she went back to Hull as ‘Stella Rigel’ H.14. In 1955, she came back to Grimsby as ‘Cradock’ GY.11. Scrapped in Belgium in 1960.
