From a negative.

‘Northern Pride’ LO.104 was built in 1936 for MacLine Ltd., London by Deutsche Schiff und Maschinenbau AG Seebeck, Wesermünde, Germany as part of the war reparations programme. ‘Northern Pride’ LO.104 operated out of Fleetwood. In 1939, she was sold to the Admiralty as an anti-submarine trawler and worked as a convoy escort around the UK and in the Mediterranean. She joined convoys between Liverpool and Canada. She also worked as a rescue ship and saved many lives and also supported the Normandy landings.

In 1946, HMT ‘Northern Pride’ was sold to Hull Ice Co. Ltd. and was registered at Grimsby as GY.169. She was sold to Northern Trawlers Lt., London later in 1946. Scrapped at Gateshead in 1964. What an interesting story she has!
