No. 625 Squadron RAF was a heavy bomber squadron equipped with Avro Lancasters. The squadron was formed in 1943 and was based at Kelstern from 1943 until 1945. The squadron was disbanded in 1945.

The squadron memorial stands near the village of Kelstern in the Lincolnshire Wolds. It was erected in 1964 and was the first to be erected to the memory of a single squadron.
