Lincolnshire Motors of Wellowgate, Grimsby took this photo of the construction of their new premises in Corporation Road. The completion date is given as January 1972. A large number of businesses along Corporation Road were demolished to make space for this large construction site.

Hartford Motors took over the site upon completion of the construction. The site is now the premises of Hartwell Ford.
