From a large format negative. The photo was taken on 9th April 1960.
Built as a German trawler in 1940 in Hamburg but was taken over by the German Navy and completed as the torpedo boat ‘Mars’. After sinking and being repaired, she was confiscated by the Royal Navy in 1945 and renamed ‘Larwot’. In 1947, she was bought by the Rinovia company and reconverted as the Grimsby trawler ‘Sletnes’ GY.526 by G. F. Sleight’s at Grimsby. Four torpedo tubes were removed as part of the reconversion. Scrapped in November 1960.
