Built in 1959 by Cochrane & Sons Ltd. of Selby for Yorkshire Trawlers, Grimsby. One of the famous ‘Cat Boats’. ‘Ross Cheetah’ was sold to George F. Sleight & Sons Ltd., Grimsby in 1962 and then to Ross Trawlers Ltd., Grimsby in 1967.

The ‘Cat Boats’ were sold to Cam Shipping in 1985 and operated out of Grimsby as oil rig support ships with ‘Cam’ replacing the ‘Ross’ prefix of their names. This vessel was broken up in Santander, Spain in 2010 after a period under Panama registration.
