The P.S. ‘Lincoln Castle’ moored by the Fishing Heritage Centre, Grimsby 2005.

Built in Scotland in 1940, the P.S. ‘Lincoln Castle’ operated on the Hull-New Holland ferry service across the River Humber from 1941 until 1978. The P.S. ‘Tattershall Castle’ and P.S. ‘Wingfield Castle’ operated on the same route. Sadly, the potential costs of preserving the paddle steamer for the future were prohibitive and she was scrapped in situ in the dock in 2010.
