Barbed-and-tanged arrowhead found in the Lincolnshire Wolds in 1984.

Northern Lincolnshire

This arrowhead was kindly supplied by Richard Roberts. It was a valued personal possession for a number of years. Now he is happy for us to have it to exhibit here.

The arrowhead was originally found at Stainsby, near Horncastle by the late Gordon Taylor, the history teacher who excavated the Ango-Saxon cemetery at Welbeck Hill, Irby upon Humber.
