‘Favo’ GY.1219 was built in 1901 by Smith’s Dock Co. Ltd., North Shields for Orient Steam Fishing Co. Ltd., Grimsby. In 1907, she was reregistered in Banff as BF.477. After serving as a net vessel during WW1, she returned to Banff. Broken up in 1933.

A sister vessel of ‘Favo’, ‘Cato’ GY.1220 is featured on this website. The two vessels had a very similar history. ‘Cato’ went to Banff in 1907 as ‘Mizpah’ and was reregistered again as PD.552 in 1910. After WW1, ‘Mizpah’ went back to Banff again and was reregistered BF.114.
