‘Doonie Braes’ A.66 ex ‘Grasby’ GY.510 c1960.

Built in 1945 in Charlestown, Cornwall for the Admiralty but completed as ‘Grasby’ and later registered as GY.510. In 1951, she was registered at Lowestoft as LT.267. In 1955, she went to Aberdeen as ‘Doonie Braes’ A.66. In 1967, she was converted for use as a salvage vessel and was used in the salvage of the wreck of the SS Lusitania off the Irish Coast.
