St Peter’s Road, Cleethorpes, c.1900
Cleethorpes
A tree-lined St Peter’s Road, now St Peter’s Avenue, with pedestrians enjoying a summer day. The spire of Trinity Wesleyan Methodist Chapel, opened in 1885 and later demolished, rises above the trees. An interesting local character in a wide-brimmed hat walks towards the photographer. An amateur photograph, preserved in an old family album.
