Granville Tours (and the associated A & A E Blackbourn Ltd., haulage contractors) were based in Granville Street and at other sites in Grimsby and Cleethorpes. Granville Tours operated from c1920s until the 1980s. They provided tours and holidays all over the UK. During WW2, they had a major contract to transport workers who were constructing RAF bases.
Granville Tours Ltd. also operated under the name Sunrise Holidays. By then they had new offices around the corner at Norfolk House in Welholme Road.
Note: The Blackbourn family were carters dating back to the start of the 1900s.
