Freshney Street Corner, Grimsby c1900
Grimsby
A small, original photograph. The identity of the photographer is not known.
The Victorian (VR) postbox was in the railings around the Grimsby and District Hospital on South Parade (opened in 1877). Freshney Street, on the West Marsh, no longer exists.
Note the lovely shadow from a street lamp.
