Frederick Lawrence Wright (1888-1964) was a British songwriter, music publisher, and the founder of the music journal ‘Melody Maker’. He used the pseudonyms Horatio Nicholls and Everett Lynton for his songwriting activities.
George Wilkie was the managing director of W. G. Wilkie and Company Limited of Wonderland, the Promenade, Cleethorpes. This was a significant entertainment company at the time. George patented a loop-the-loop ride which went on tour across the UK. He was a musician and played at the Café Dansant, Cleethorpes. He was also the president of the Cleethorpes Advancement Association. He lived at ‘Sunrise’, Prince’s Road.
