‘Revesby’ BN.50 before 1921.
An old photographic print.
Built, as ‘Revesby’ by J. Jones & Sons, Liverpool in 1898 for Boston Deep Sea Fishing & Ice Co. Ltd. In 1916 she was requisitioned as a boom trawler and was based at Sheerness. The owner received her back in 1919 and sold her to a Scarborough-based company and she fished out of Hull. ‘Revesby’ was checked out in Grimsby in 1921 and was subsequently sold to French owners, in Arcachon, later that year. The Boston registry was closed and she was registered as ‘Marguerite René’. Registered as ‘Denise Simonne’ at Dieppe in 1930. She was broken up in 1952 after a relatively long life.
