The postcard was posted in Grimsby by J. E. on 6th November 1904. The recipient was Miss A. Clayton (Grocer), De-la-Pole Avenue, Newington, Hull. (The avenue is still there.) The message reads, “Just to enable you to keep my memory green? (fresh?) until my usual visit on Thursday.”
