Jimmy Campbell was a British music publisher and songwriter who worked closely with Reg Connelly. The pair were prevalent in the 1920s and ’30s. Primarily lyricists, they generally worked in collaboration with composers. Their publishing company Campbell, Connelly & Co, Ltd. was founded in 1929. Compositions include; “The More We Are Together”, “Show Me the Way to Go Home”, “If I Had You”, “Goodnight Sweetheart” and “Try a Little Tenderness”.
