The Australian soldier wears a cloth formation sign / battle patch indicating he is serving with the 2nd Australian Division. Taken in France, the card has a Carte Postale reverse. We do not know if the Lincolnshire Regiment soldier was from the Grimsby area but we have included the photo here as it tells a story.
