Fred Turner was a fish merchant on Grimsby docks in 1909. A poster in the picture states that he has his own trawlers. It’s not known exactly where the premises in the picture was. The postcard was posted from Cleethorpes/Grimsby to Grassmore (Grassmoor), near Chesterfield in August 1913.

Kelly’s directory for 1909 shows that a Frederick Turner lived at 2 Wollaston Road, Cleethorpes. So, was this restaurant/shop in Cleethorpes too?
