Albert Heward Parker was a beef and pork butcher at 122 & 124 Victoria Street (West) in Grimsby c1930s-1950s. He was also a tobacconist next door at number 126.

The properties at numbers 122, 124 and 126 were demolished to build a three-storey premises, now a branch of Swinton Insurance.

Mr Parker died on 26th June 1957. The poster in the window advertising ‘Star Attractions’, coming to the town, lists ‘The Animals’, ‘Ex Beatle Pete Best’ and ‘The Merseybeats’. This dates the photo to c1963. A new owner of the butchers business must have kept the company name.

Also in the window, the reflection of ‘Siddle’s Tool Shop’ over the road can be seen.

A. H. Parker had another butchers shop at 429 Grimsby Rd., Cleethorpes.
