The crew of the Grimsby trawler Mildenhall by The P. & S. Photo Service.
Is this the trawler Mildenhall GY.124 built in 1936 and transferred to the French Navy and renamed L’Ajacciene or is it Mildenhall GY.280 built 1935, renamed HMT Sapphire then Dunsby and lost off the coast of Finland in 1948?
This is one of a series of wonderful photographs of trawler crews by The P. & S. Photo Service of 70 Freeman Street, Grimsby. P. & S. stands for Parker & Spyvee who had four dispensing chemists shops in Grimsby. Tom Parker was the pharmacist and Rex Spyvee looked after the photography side of the business.
