William Charles Kirby joined the Royal Naval Reserve Force on 23rd February 1898, was mobilised for WW1 on 17th August 1914 and was discharged on 26th June 1919. He served as Seaman R.N.R. (Acting Second Hand R.N.R.F.).

This discharge certificate was not signed until 28th May 1921.
