William Charles Kirby, born 1877 and now aged 33, has passed the necessary examinations relative to his practical knowledge of seamanship and is deemed qualified to act as boatswain of a steam fishing vessel. The certificate was given under the seal of The Fishing Vessel Owners’ and Underwriters’ Joint Amalgamated Arbitration & Navigation Committee in Hull. Dated 27th November 1911.
