George Henry Greenwood was one of Grimsby’s finest photographers. He had a studio from before 1909 and until at least 1940. His work covers both WW1 and WW2.

George Henry Greenwood’s earlier studio address was 36 Hainton Street/Avenue and later he moved to 30 Hainton Avenue. It is not known when.

George Henry Greenwood may have been born in Grimsby in 1886, married in Grimsby in 1909 and/or in 1927 and may have died in Grimsby in 1958, aged 73. (Details to be checked.)
