An impressive portrait by Eustace and Walker of Grimsby. In 1909, Eustace and Walker were picture frame makers at 154 Victoria Street, Grimsby. A George Henry Eustace was also listed as a photographer at Clee Park Studio, 306 Cleethorpe Road, Grimsby.

The postman’s uniform is early 20th century. His cap and buttons have GPO on them. The three stripes indicate long service. The name of the postman is unknown.
