Thatched cottage(s), Pinfold Lane, Scarthoe c1905.

A thatched cottage, or pair of cottages, is featured on this original printed postcard, date about 1905. It seems that the photographer has attracted the attention of all the local folk for this ‘posed for’ postcard picture. Pinfold Lane, situated off Louth Road, remains today but “Oh what a difference a century makes!” A rare postcard of bygone Scarthoe.
