L.A.S. County Show Decorations, Riby Square, Grimsby 1904.

From the days when the Lincolnshire Show was held in different places around the county. The annual show was, as it is now, organised by the Lincolnshire Agricultural Society which was established back in 1869.

The photographer/publisher of this real photographic postcard in unknown. This is the original 1904 unposted postcard.

The photo was taken at Riby Square, with the Smith, Ellison & Co. Bank, Grimsby Docks branch, Cleethorpe Road on the right. The bank became the Union of London & Smiths Bank Ltd. a couple of years before this photo was taken. This bank was a past constituent of NatWest.
