Lord Beatty was built by Rickmers in Bremerhaven in 1956. After Lord Line merged with Helyer Brothers in 1963, Lord Beatty H.112 and nine other ships were transferred to Grimsby.
Lord Beatty GY.91 was scrapped in 1976.
