Poulton’s Series photographs are the work of Samuel E. Poulton who was active in London, Lincoln, Chatsworth and Ely from the 1850s to the 1890s. His early works are usually identified by S. Poulton or Poulton’s Series, later credits read S. Poulton & Son.
