Grimsby Commercial Docks

RRS Bransfield was an ice-strengthened cargo vessel, purpose-built for the British Antarctic Survey. She was built by Robb Caledon Shipbuilders Ltd, Leith and was launched in 1970. Her Port of Registry was Port Stanley, Falkland Islands. For much of her career her joint Masters were John Cole and Stuart Lawrence.

RRS Bransfield was broken up in Mumbai in 2000.
