Its an Atlantic Blue-fin Tuna Thunnus thynnus. Nowadays a specimen this size would be worth millions (£). When this phoro was taken there was hardly any market for them!
A photo published by Photo Dept. Porris’ News Bureau (P.N.B.), Grimsby.
The proprietor of the news bureau (established 1882) was Louis Porri, journalist and well-known correspondent of 13 & 15 Cleethorpe Road, Grimsby.
Louis Porri’s son, Cyril, flew with the Royal Flying Corps in WW1 and became an expert in aerial photography. He was appointed Chief Instructor at the Air Ministry’s School of Photography. Later he served as an Intelligence Officer in WW2.

“I wrote about this being my grandfather's boat - he was the engineer. It was first registered as INS 11 and is pronounced Pit-gay-vnay not Pit-gav-enny.”

“My grandfather was the engineer on this drifter when she was fishing out of Lossiemouth and then working as a minesweeper at Scapa Flow from 1915.”
