The submarines ‘Seaforth A’ and ‘Seaforth B’ were scrapped at Doig’s Creek at Grimsby.

‘Seaforth B’, formerly HMS Oberon, was laid down in Chatham Dockyard in 1957 and launched in 1959. She was one of the Oberon class submarines. In 1986 she was decommissioned and sold to the Seaforth Group. The intention was to sell ‘Seaforth A’ and ‘Seaforth B’ to Egypt but this never happened and the submarines were scrapped at Grimsby.
