Cleethorpes Baker & Grocer; Jacob William Prior 1910.

Presumably Jacob William Prior and assistant outside his shop at 76 Daubney Street, Cleethorpes. This corner shop, on a Sidney Street corner, is now a house and is almost unrecognisable.

This is an original real photo postcard posted in Grimsby on 14th May 1910 to Mrs Prior, 89 Kingsway, Cleethorpes. Mrs Prior must be a relation. A photo by the well-known Lowthian Bros. of 144-146 Freeman Street, Grimsby.

The delivery cart was made by Woodthorpe and Haddock of Victor Street in Grimsby. It contains a heap of bread loaves and what looks like a bag of flour with Mr Prior’s name and address on it.
