The dimensions of a side plate (16cm). It has a ‘Semi China’ mark. The maker’s mark in unknown. Made in England.

Hainton Street Primitive Church/Chapel was built in 1870-1873. The church/chapel closed in 1956 and was demolished in 1961. Hainton House was built on the site in the 1960s; a classic example of the architecture of the time. The building is currently occupied by Women’s Aid Charity Shop.

Note: In 1904, and probably until 1906, there was a Hainton Street and also a Hainton Avenue. By later in 1906, Hainton Street Primitive Methodist Church was referred to as Hainton Avenue Primitive Methodist Church.
