An original photographic postcard by Harry Shaw, photographer, of Grant Thorold Studio, 54 Durban Road, Grimsby.
The postcard was sent from Grimsby to Mr. Willie Littledale of Workington, Cumberland in August 1907. The sender thought that this card was interesting when they saw it in a shop window so they bought it.
“I wrote about this being my grandfather's boat - he was the engineer. It was first registered as INS 11 and is pronounced Pit-gay-vnay not Pit-gav-enny.”
