Grimsby Docks; landing fish panorama c1907.

A wonderful, rare, double-width postcard by The Photochrom Company, Ltd., London.

The panoramic postcard was sent from Grimsby on the 29th September 1907. His location is ‘Winchester’ PD.410 (a Peterhead registered, steam drifter built 1907, lost 1933.) The card is addressed to Mr James Rae of Aberdeenshire. The weather was very fine in Grimsby!

Note: As the sender had written a message on the card and only used a 1/2 pence stamp, it was liable to a 1d letter rate.
