Charlton & Co., Ltd. were marine and mechanical engineers, brassfounders and shipbuilders of Church St. and Royal Dock, Grimsby.

Karrier was a marque of motorised vehicles manufactured at Karrier Works, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, by Clayton and Co., Huddersfield, Limited. They began making Karrier motor vehicles in 1908 in Queen Street South, Huddersfield. Confirmation of the date of manufacture of this vehicle would be appreciated.
